This original drawing is created with soft pastels on Pastelmat paper.
"Poplar Hawk Moth- Underpass" is professionally framed in a bevelled soft grey moulding to compliment the tones in the drawing.
Overall frame size is 55.5cm x 43.5cm.
This drawing was created using a resist technique, as I experimented with using a liquid latex paint to recreate the whitewash streaks on the wall behind the moth. This moth was large in size but camouflaged quite well against the concrete wall, despite the whitewash streaks.
